Mikeandthewife
Need to change my motorhome awning, does anyone know if there is any cost savings worth waiting for at the motor home shows
stevec176
There are always deals to be done but get some quotes before you go so you have some comparisons to haggle with. Maybe they'll do the fitting for free. Don't ask you don't get.
pepe63xnotuse
I know that plenty of owners are happy enough to have "accessories" fitted at shows but personally, given the choice between having it done at an established workshop, where presumably they'd have the tools, kit and fittings available to deal with any unforeseen eventuality (if they hadn't, they could get them asap),and that I could revisit later if something was amiss .. or .. having it done outside in a car park, with the bloke(s) just working out of their van(and being limited to what they happen to have onboard), whilst working under possibly very tight time restraints (others customers waiting? 'got a long drive home or haven't checked in to their hotel yet? etc), I'd choose a workshop.. :-S
stevec176
These things are always down to the saving you make. I only buy off the internet if it's a big saving. You can always check the company on the internet before buying.
