Pete-B
Hi, Is anyone able to tell me how to replace the battery in the central locking fob which also operates the alarm system? Also what type of battery it is. Thanks for any help.
Derek Uzzell
For those forum members who are not clairvoyant ;-) ;-) Pete’s motorhome is a 2015 Bessacarr E462 If the key fob is the same as the standard Ducato one, the following video-clip covers battery replacement and the battery is said to be a CR2032 (that is widely available). Don636
If the remote you are talking about is the standard Fiat remote key then you can get to the battery by flipping out the metal key and looking at the exposed side of the remote where you will see a slotted head. If you turn this it opens the battery slot which comes out for replacement using a CR2032 coin shaped battery. You can go onto Youtube and find a number of videos showing you how to do it which is what I did.
Pete-B
Spot on Derek and many thanks to you and Don for the answers, all now done with new battery fitted. Off to SAP tomorrow to get the air suspension done.
