malc d
I have a Thule folding bike rack - which I am pleased with - but when in use the bikes are not absolutely vertical. They lean backwards ( although not very much ) Underneath the rack is a small black plastic knob which looks as if it might be an adjustment - but I can find no mention of it in the manual. Anyone know what it's for ?? Thanks
ColinM50
What happens when you turn it? Does it release the rack so it can slide in and out and you then retighten it? got to be worth a turn to see what happens
ron.
Is it a towbar mounted rack? If so the nut you mentioned looks to me like the adjustment nut for how tight you want to clamp the rack to the tow ball. Again, if the bikes are leaning back then loosen the clamp from the ball, tilt the rack forward and re-clamp it.
