gordonaldson Posted January 21, 2007 Share Posted January 21, 2007 Have you wonderful knowledgeable people out there read your MMM January magazine, well go to page 59 and under Cycling Trails - Loch Venacher To Killin. The old raiway bridge in the picture is the one on the side of the steep mountainside that you see from your motorhome window as you climb the hill in Glen Ogle out of Lochearnhead on the A85 going to Crianlarich. Breathtaking or what. Even better to cycle or walk along it. Many years ago it was blocked off by gaint rock bolders that had rolled down the mountain side. There is a car park at the top of the hill and if I remember on the way down the otherside, look out for places that you could maybe spend the night, naughty, naughty. The council/cycle track guys worked on the line for some time to make it navigatable, good guys. OK some of you's have done it and seen it but some have said "No way would you get a railway line around that big hill/mountain.
