Basically, if your tail pipe is on the UK offside, it is a UK exhaust. If it exits on the UK nearside, it is a Continental variant as used on LHD vehicles. If it is the 'foreign' version, it will be much more expensive than a UK version.

If you want to replace like with like, a Stainless Steel one would be no more expensive (generally speaking). I had a Bustner 747 which was RHD but had the LHD (continental) exhaust fitted. It was difficult to find a replacement quickly (and damn expensive), so I bought the UK version for around 1/3 of the cost and the mechanics who do my servicing etc modified the exhaust brackets to suit. They charged £65 (including new rubber hangers) for this work. So, you have 3 options now. :D
