Remis cab blinds

Hi there

I have a swb Citroen relay 2014. It is a L1H1. It was registered on 30.08.14 however I'm convinced its a x250 rather than a 290. The headlights are the old type. I'm thinking of fitting remis cab blinds as I had them on my ducato and found them excellent quality. However after doing a bit of looking around it appears I have two issues. Firstly I have a rain sensor in the top corner of the windscreen drivers side which could cause fitting issues. Secondly the headhight organizer shelf above the cab has a central compartment which continues to the windscreen and apparently occludes the path of the upper rail of the cab blind. Was wondering if anybody has trimmed this organizer shelf to fit the cab blind system. It also seems Remis only sell a version accommodating the windscreen sensor for the x290. Can anybody verify this or has anybody modified one to fit around the sensor ?

It’s simple to decide whether a Citroen Relay is an X250 or X290 model as the frontal treatment is significantly different (headlamps, bonnet, radiator grille, bumper, etc.) The attached images should make those changes apparent.

As you say, the Remis website indicates that a REMIfront IV windscreen bIind is not available for X250s with sensors

I can’t advise on modifying the Remis blind, but it might be worth mentioning that Dometic marketed a windscreen blind for X250s that was conceptually different from the Remis one.

Thanks for that. Yes I thought it was an x250. It's just odd how its registration date is after the 290 was launched. It's confusing when ordering parts.

Yes I will have a look at the dometic blind.

The X250 was launched in 2006. My X244 Ducato was first registered in September 2006. To avoid confusion, I somtimes quote 2005 when searchng for parts.
