cleddytanhouse Posted July 3, 2018 Share Posted July 3, 2018 Hi, Is it possible to have the medical and eyesight test before the 90 day period and then send the completed application 90 days before my 70th birthday? Having recently moved house, the DVLA messed up my change of address application and I want time on my side if they do the same for the D2 application..!!!! weldted Posted July 3, 2018 Share Posted July 3, 2018 The application must not be more than three months old when it is recived by the DVLA. So you should be ok. I am having to apply early as we go away for six months around mid September and I am 70 in Feb. They said ok but licence will be dated in this case from early Sept just means that ?I will renew it each Sept rather the Feb.
