alistair Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 I've noticed that French aires guidebook "Le guide official etapes touristiques camping-car" can be purchased on the Motorhome Facts website, but I wonder how easy they are to buy in France. It sounds like a useful book, especially as my wife reads French! We are in New Zealand and can either buy it over the internet and get it sent to friends in the UK to await our arrival, or we can buy it once we arrive in France early in May. Can anybody advise where they can be bought in France, and how easy they are to find? Thanks.
Derek Uzzell Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 'Aires' guidebooks hit the shelves mid/late March annually and can be purchased from most French newsagents and from pretty much every motorhome/caravan dealership. In May you should have no difficulty obtaining the guide in France.
enodreven Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 Hi, Alistair It may also be worth considering an ACSI Campingcard and if you have access to a laptop it could be worth purchasing the CD of aires from www.campingcar-infos.com i find this more useful than the book Brian
michele Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 Endoreven, How much did you pay for the disk Please
Randonneur Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 I have just received my CD from Camping-Car Infos and the cost was 15 euros in total. Had a quick look at it and it seems very informative. Not only Aires but regulations for each Country.
