mildi
We used to go there at the at the weekend some times but never stayed overnight as the charges were more expensive than a campsite when you added in the cost of the daytime parking Did anyone actually pay to park overnight? Derek Uzzell
There is information about this on the Havant Borough Council (HBC) website http://www.havant.gov.uk/hayling-island-beachlands-parking-charges In the FAQ section four items refer to motorhomes Why is HBC proposing to ban overnight parking at West Beach? Why have we got permanent residents living on West Beachlands car parks? Why are blue badge holders not being penalised for not paying overnight fees? Why is HBC not enforcing sensible parking arrangements particularly for motorhomes? (As far as I can make out it’s not a matter of HBC trying to ban overnight parking at West Beach car-park - HBC has already done it.)
