Guest starspirit Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 Many UK insurers do not issue the standard European accident report form to their policyholders and if one is unfortunate enough to suffer a potential claim making incident whilst abroad these do make life very much easier. A copy in French and English can be downloaded and printed, just in case, from www.aoninsurexpat.com, and I thank Francoise Dupont for drawing this to our attention on page 33 of the Feb issue of CCC magazine. I suggest that two copies are printed and placed in the van with a sheet of carbon paper so that one copy can be given to another party and one retained for your own insurer. The other party should complete a similar form and again lets you have a copy. When I find a Spanish version I'll get that too - just in case!
