Frankieshome1
Hi. I dont know if this has been talked about. However thinking about getting one. Some sites wont allow Gazebo's, yet they are so easy to put up. Any advise from anyone who has either please?
747
We have tried driveaway awnings etc but found they were too much faff to erect/take down. We have used a cheap garden Gazebo for many years now and found it to be the best for us. The only sites we use are C&CC Temporary Holiday Sites and have never had a problem. I can singlehandedly erect the Gazebo in a couple of minutes and take it down just as quickly. It is lightweight, the side panels are just attached with velcro and you can decide if you want all 4 sides fitted or none at all.

Some sites wont allow Gazebo's, yet they are so easy to put up. Any advise from anyone who has either please? My guess is that it might be a safety issue as, being so light, they are more likely to go tumbling across a site if a sudden gust of wind blows up. I've saw one go flying across a site in Brittany earlier this year. Luckily it missed surrounding tents/vans and didn't hit anyone. Saying that, I know loads of site do allow gazebos.
