Aldi Battery Bargain

Following a tip from a forum member with whom I communicate privately (we have the same 'van') I called at Aldi when I was out this afternoon.

I'd been considering buying one of the those self-contained batteries for emergency starting and for running 12v appliances when we've no mains hook up.

For £25 Aldi has a 17.2 Ah battery with 900 A peak starting current, three 12v outlets, jump-start leads, air compressor and a white work light plus yellow flashing lights for emergencies.

Terrific value if you're in the market for one. It's a sensible size with a carrying handle and is well supplied with spare fuses etc.

Edited to add that it isn't on Aldi's website anymore but my local store has large stocks.
