colin
Check out satelliteforcaravans, trouble is when will you want it most? in fine weather you can proboly get away with a dish 60% of that required if its raining.

Are you including non "Sky" channels like BBC/ITV etc? Where abouts in southern Spain?
mike.T
We were in Almera (Capo de Gata ) a few months ago with a .8mt. dish I picked up Sky news and a lot of other stations but not BBC\ITV another campers had a 1.1 dish and picked up everything . But problems when damp, people living on the site had to use 1.3mt,dish to get a satisfactory reception So it looks like we also will have to get a 1.3 dish next time get a satisfactory reception in this area Regards Mike
RonB
We have a Kathrein CAP210 satellite system with its square dish measuring just .6 metres. For the past three years we have received all the Sky subscription channels (not BBC/ITV) in Albufeira and Marbella as clear as a bell. I feel that satelllite reception depends on a mixture of dish size and equipment quality. Much like a digital camera, no amount of pixels will give you a good image if the camera comes with a crap lens and poor software.
