Guest starspirit
Everything can rattle on a fire, so try letting someone else drive whilst you sit on the floor by the fire listening for noises and rattles and then pressing on or fidling with it (the fire) in the appropriate spot until the rattles stops. Go home tighten up, readjust, affix anti rattle pads, extra screws or whatever else you think might work where neccessary until all ratlles have gone. Might take time but well worth the effort. Terrytraveller
Hi David, Annoying isn't it.... You don't say what make of fire it is. If it is the Truma 3000 series, one source could be the thermostat, bottom right hand side of the unit. The thermostat is fitted loosely in a tin mounting bracket and can rattle, carefully bending the bracket will cure the ratttle, ensure that the thermostat is not touching anthing else but the bracket.
