RDG Posted February 17, 2007 Share Posted February 17, 2007 Can anyone give me details of where I can get the extension tyre valve for fitting onto spare tyres that are slung under the van so they can be easily checked? Details of the best back window reversing lens would also be appreciated. I know both were in last years mmm supplement but unfortunately I must have recycled it by accident while obeying my wife’s instructions to sort out the pile of magazines I always seem to accumulate. Derek Uzzell Posted February 18, 2007 Share Posted February 18, 2007 A follow-up... I found the MMM supplement you referred to and the Spairline product details are as I stated. The reversing lenses mentioned in the supplement are branded "Vanguard" and the contact details are: Berm Optical Products Ltd, Orchard Corner, Barmby Moor, E Yorks YO42 4EJ Tel: 01759 302161 (There's no Berm website that I can find.) The lenses being offered on the www.motorcaravanning.co.uk website may well be "Vanguard" ones as their dimensions tally with those given in the MMM supplement, but I suggest you confirm this before buying. The supplement warns that some lenses can 'cloud' with time and recommends Vanguard for lasting quality - certainly the Vanguard lens I fitted to my last motorhome was still OK after 6 years.
