Mr. Grumpy Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 Suggestions and advice on which of the above would be most suitable for door to door navigation in Western Europe please; or have you found particular problems with any of them?
Terrytraveller Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 I use the Mio 269+, available as the 710 now. Providing the software is now the same or better found the Mio 269+ to be excellent. I rather like the ability to input GPS coordinates as seen on the http://www.campingcar-infos.com/index1.htm site, putting the GPS coordinates in directly, allows you to navigate right to the aires, all the coordinates given in green text in CampingCar-Info have been verified. Not all satnavs have the facility of entering the GPS coordinates so its best to make sure before you buy. Regards Terry
colin Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 Have you seen the new Magellan Crossover, can be used in car or for walking (or marine for peter), not tried it but sounds interesting.
