Those with annual Caravan Club Personal Annual Insurance might like to know that the Club has changed Medical Insurance Assessors who are operating with different criteria. I went to renew my policy this week, and taking a belt and braces approach, decided to confirm the medical details accepted for last year's policy. Although my wife's medical condition is unchanged from last year, the new assessors decided that one aspect of her condition could not be covered by the policy. Had I renewed the policy as offered, and then claimed for a condition that the new assessors want to exclude, at best I would have had to wrangle and at worst the claim would not have been met. I suggest that others invited to renew take note !
