If you mean Camping Le Village Vert, Cherbourg....one image shows an Aire type setup.

The owner is discriminating people. By telling that he doesn't want English people on the camping and he doesn't allow English people to even buy a caravan there. I think he has forgotten that the English people have their live for him in the war so he could have his freedom

Hi, You could always stay at the Aire at the harbour we've stayed there and its safe enough always loads of vans parked up. If you'd rather have a site, if you cross the bridge at the harbour turn right and head up the coast road about two miles there is a Municipal site La Saline is on your left.

We stayed overnight once at Camping Le Village Vert - but that was about 17 years ago when the campsite resembled a bomb site!

 

There are several alternatives fairly close to the ferry terminal but unlikely to be affected by ‘migrants’. For example
