47643
Hi, looking to fit a solar panel .the area avalable is 1500mm x 1400mm. it is a fiat ducato van conversion.narrowed to 2 panels so far, a perlight 270 w or a 300w panasonic hit n300. if i use the perlight , width is 993mm one support would be on a high ridge and the other in a valley on the roof. the panasonic would fit across the high ridges. would it matter? looking to fix with 2 x1500mm 50 x 50 x 3 aluminium angle. using sika 292 adhesive would this be ok? thoughts please
Charles
I bonded and screwed aluminium channel down first then bolted the panel to that. I means the panel can be removed but also I put hinges down one side so it can be propped up towards the sun, the output goes up about 6 fold in October when tilted at 45° B-)
