Guest russ
We have just bought our first Hymer 544. Can any one point me in the right direction in finding new carpets?
Guest John P
You do not say which model or age of your Hymey. I suggest that you try a local carpet supplier. The quality and colour range is much wider. Use the originals as a template for cutting out the replacements and get the supplier to edge bind them. Binding may not be necessary,it depends on your choice of carpet. From Hymer/Brownhills the cost is very very high for each piece. Be prepared to take out a second mortgage. However, you makes your choice and pays your money! Best of luck John
Guest Steve
I concur with the above as it widens your carpet choice enormously. I use a chap in Peterborough who charges £1 per foot for edge binding. Just cost me £30 to bind new carpets for my Hobby. You could add a few hundred to that though, I suspect, if you bought Hymer originals and the carpet would probably be inferior quality.
