Deffheads
Hi, Has anyone run an Echo Dot from a 12v supply?
Derek Uzzell
This doesn’t directly answer your question, but a casual GOOGLE-search suggests that 1st and 2nd generation Echo Dot devices used a power adapter taking 120 - 240 volts at 0.6 amps 50 or 60 Hz as an input, and delivering 15 volts at 1.4 amps as an output, whereas the 3rd generation Echo Dot has a 12V input so OUGHT to be more amenable to hooking up to a motorhome’s 12V supply. Spyder
Hi yes we run a 3rd Gen Alexa. I bought a 12v adapter off Amazon for about £8-10. Links to my EE WiFi no problem along with our Fire Stick
