sandalwood
IH 2012 TIO REAR LOUNGE has a truma combi system for heating. The dial control shows you can have gas and electric on together. I Switch On to temperature number 4. When reached that temperature, does the gas automatically switch off leaving me with electric only? Puzzling. All help appreciated. weldted
Hi, this heater priorities electric when available, when using both to speed up heating when the set temp is reached both will turn off. As the van cools down the electric will come back on first if it is unable to maintain the set temp, the gas will come on to boost the heat. It will cycle like that as required to maintain you selected level of heating.
Derek Uzzell
This should be the Operating Instructions document for a 2012 Truma Combi E heater https://dealernew.truma.com/_anweisungen/Truma_Katalog/pdf_verzeichnis/30_000/34020_29300.pdf “Mixed Operation” (230V + gas) functions as weldted has described.
