g4oip Posted February 28, 2007 Share Posted February 28, 2007 Looking through 5 years of back copies of MMM I was given when I bought The Beast[Alice] from her indoors, July 2005 shows how easy it was to open any window whilst you were fighting the wife for the wallet in Super U. Well mine could not do that now surely?Oh yes it can so unless anyone can come up with an alternative I shall have to do something similar, but surely the lock handles can be made like car quarter light catches with a button that locked the lever down by a simple ball and spring mechanism. It makes a joke of all the extra locks on doors etc. One more point before You fall asleep it is suggested following all the comments re. 5th gear failure to add a bit of ZX1 or other slippy additive but how to put it into my 2.3 model?
