eberspacher heating

we seem to not be able to put our heating on the timer we set timer to say come on in the morning retire to bed then when habitation area drops below set temperature the heating swiches on ow i thought the idea of the timer setting for the heating to only come on when the timer setting was set for it to come on, as any one else had this problem or am i mistaken thinking this is how it should work our local ebespacher dealer does not seem to know it is a new van as well :-(

Hi Anthony,

 

Its over three years since I had an Eberspacher heater, there were two controls as I remember, once timer was set you needed to cycle through the options and make sure the LCD displayed timer on. There should be a small clock icon displayed which indicates if its on timer when the default screen is displayed. The default screen should display timer icon, Date and Time when programming is complete (I think!)
