BoJo's Revenge

Be very afraid, as Johnson takes revenge on the legal system, on remainers, on human rights and on any democratic aggravations that stand in his way. We saw how fast his people moved to threaten to “review” Channel 4’s licence when it empty-chaired him for refusing its climate debate. Ofcom backed C4: what price will it pay? https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2019/dec/10/boris-johnson-revenge-bbc-channel-4-manifesto

Not surprising when you realise that the EU acts as financial surety for Channel 4.

Do you really think Ch 4 is a neutral party in all this? If you do then you are a bigger fool than I took you for.

The EU wields enormous power and uses it to suit its own ends. Why do you think there has been no coverage of the riots in France? Not one European Newspaper or TV Channel has reported on it, yet we got daily updates from Hong Kong, where similar events occurred.

similar events occurred.

What is similar about the number killed in Hong Kong compared to the number killed in France?

Hong Kong was also part of Britain, so a closer connection and the UK Government will want it to be seen as worse than when they were in charge. So coverage of the Hong Kong riots is supportive of the UK Government rather than the EU.

BoJo's not bothering to look at the picture of the 4 year old on the hospital floor shows he doesn't care. If he doesn't get his demands from the EU he will just leave. He'll be OK (and so will I) but many people won't (including the Mad Hatter who considers himself a winner from Brexit *-) )

Well,

1 I have seen UK TV reports on the gilets jaunes demonstrations,

2 I strongly suspect French TV and newspapers have reported on it (France, last time I looked, was in Europe)

3 Hyperbole, surely? Have you been looking at the TV outputs of the 26 remaining countries, and are you sufficiently multi-lingual, to be in a position to make that claim, or is this just another "someone said" bit of social media reportage?

1 Agreed. But how would you be able to tell if it was. Your definition of bias is anyone who doesn't agree with you! :-D

2 To be replaced with what, and how would that remove what you see as bias? Not considering government control of the media, are you? Are you sure that is really what you want? Have you considered a future change of government and what that might do to news reportage? Little grey cells?? :-D

Large areas of France was also connected to Britain.
