niktam
We don't have a waste bin in our MH just asking what you experts have in your MH. Do you add one to the back of the door and keep recycling separate? What's the consensus?
BruceM
We use a biodegradable plastic bag, you can buy them on a roll, ideal for taking wet foodstuffs (eg teas leaves etc) and can be just dumped in the bin when we move on. When we’re using one we simply hook it on the habitation door handle or in the summer out the back window. If there are recycling facilities we dump that stuff immediately. david lloyd
Our Autosleper Worcester had the standard Hartal door bin fitted which was a shallow semi circular one that hekd very little waste. I have replaced it with one obtained from O'Leary Motorhome Parts at Woodmansey near Beverley. The replacement cost £14.99 and fitted neatly in they footwell when the door was closed. Go to olearymotorhomes.co.uk and in the search function enter 'waste bin' - scroll down to 'Door Bin (Beige)' and they do internet postal service. Usual recycling material,I keep separate and bin that when I can. David

laimeduck
Will86 - 2020-01-26 1:12 PM A plastic bag will save you money and its so simple … its only for rubbish Will Plastic bags are thankfully like Hens teeth now, especially in Europe. A bucket with a lid outside the door does the job though and one bucket lasts for years.
