stevec176
Does it then stay lit, say over night, or go out after a short while?
weldted
Do you have a securmotion type regulator fitted? They have been known to cause problems. In theory the pressure in a gas bottle as in the vapour stays the same until all the liquid gas is used?
Keithl
Are you using Propane or Butane? Butane will not operate at low temperatures as well as Propane. And have you tried lighting all the burners on your hob to check it is not a faulty regulator? Keith.
Trickydicky1
Hi if we use a new gas bottle the fridge is fine it starts up and stays working, but if we turn the fridge off and try to restart it it flashes !!! All other appliances work continuously.

Derek Uzzell
It might be useful to know which model of Thetford fridge/freezer you have and how old it is (and when it was last serviced). Some Thetford appliances provide a diagnostic error code as well as a flashing light - presumably yours does not? If (as Keith mentioned above) all of the hob’s gas burners will operate simultaneously at maximum output, the gas regulator should be OK. Assuming that your motorhome (whatever it is) has in its habitation area a set of gas ‘stop-cocks’ that can be used to isolate the various gas appliances, it would be worth checking that the stop-cock for the fridge/freezer is fully on and - even if it is turned fully on - try turning it off and on again a few times. (If the regulator is OK and the stop-cock is OK, it will be necessary to check at the fridge/freezer’s burner what’s happening when the fridge fails to restart.)
