It could help if you able to provide a photo of the switch in the dashboard, but yours is a very specific enquiry about a 31 years old vehicle and difficult to answer without actualy inspecting your motorhome and seeing the switch in situ.

Hello thank you for your reply I have found out that you pull the switch knob out and pull harder and the dial comes off then you can get to the nut behind. So switch is now removed. Thank you again for the info very much appreciated.
