If you mean an insulated blanket to cover your bonnet and the front of the vehicle I'm pretty sure that in one of the leaflets that I got from either Taylormade or Silverscreens, both of whom make thermal insulated window screens, there was a total bonnet cover featured.

Just Google them for phone numbers etc.

Are you talking about the black vinyl front covers popular in America?

 

If yes, I would think they are unsuitable for our wet climate?

 

IMO grit and water underneath will eventually lead to rust

I believe that Silver Screens do the bonnet bibs as part of their full screen covers whereas Taylormade do them as add-ons. I'm just waiting for the dummies and nappies to appear!!!
