2005 Peugeot Boxer wing mounted aerial replacement choices

Hi All,

I have read quite a few threads on poor radio reception so I have come to the conclusion that I will replace the aerial as a 1st step as my existing wing mounted one which is very old and a bit limp. Problem is I cannot see how to get to it to remove it.

Do I remove the wheel arch or as I read in one of the threads remove the bolts under the bonnet to tilt the wing over.

Another option is to get a internal amplified screen mounted aerial and leave the existing one alone, but are these any good ?

I do have another radio to fit but until I can get to the aerial solution I will have to carry on playing cd's on our travels.
