They have had friends van since 15th of january when I posted on here on their behalf re flat battery 2 months and it is still wrong they think it's time to ask for Mr Brownhill in the nicest way of course . Tonight they are swimming again they said it's nice pool but they have had enough swimming and want to talk with the big man now. On reflection perhaps I shouldn't of put that header ,it just sprung to mind . just an old saying
icelander Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 Hi michele You may be able to look up who owns want on the internet IE Companies House A Company House search should reveal names of directors etc. May cost though. Any advice anyone else? Animal Libbys have no problem finding out this sort of info.
donna miller Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 Icelander is right, a basic search at companies house is free. Just had a look and free search only gives you the companies registered address, and not directors names
icelander Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 If you pay for a report I think names are there as they are a Limited Company. Any more info anyone? You may be able to get for £4 the info on Brownhills from www.busibody.com/company-information/company-directors-uk.html There must be a easier way though
Guest starspirit Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 Phone them and ask for the name of the 'chief executive' and / or 'dealer principle' and / or 'sales director' and / or person ultimately responsible for customer care and service and also ask where these people are based. Having got that write a very polite letter to each of them setting out a factual calendar of all the events and incidents that have led to the current unsatisfactory situation. Send them, marked 'personal' and / or 'private and confidential' by 'signed for' delivery (used to be called recorded delivery) making sure that you have a copy of each on file at home. That usually gets a response.
icelander Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 If one has time search through all the search engines looking for Brownhills Newark Director on one post The name Paul Kershaw comes up Name and Shame the directors that is what I say
michele Posted March 14, 2007 Author Posted March 14, 2007 Guy's thanks for the help. friends of our are stuck there again if they want to get on here and shame them then that's up to them . For now I will refrain from entering in it's not my battle. it's just that they phoned last night and did not know whom to speak with and they have done the other things correctly like letters & DOTStandards. I think they will have to take this up with someone higher ... Just wondered if I could give them a name to ask for they have donethe usual rounds . Ah well these things are sent to try us. thanks once again for the help.

Experience has shown me that soemtimes attitudes to customers stem from the top and that was certainly true of our last motorhome when letters to the 'shirt sleeve chairman' (as he was referred to in a recent magazine article) brought nil response. I do wish them the best of luck though. Regards, David
flicka Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 Hi Michele Another route may be the Citizens Advice Bureau, they should be able to come up with company directors' names. Flicka
Clive Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 Try Nick Pierce. He is the son of the original owner who sold the business off to the banks I understand. Nick still works there.
michele Posted March 15, 2007 Author Posted March 15, 2007 Cheers Guy's I think I have enough now I have passed theinfo on to my friends who are not happy bunnies to say the least. *-)
Guest bil h Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 Write to BBC TV Watchdog explaining all the details. Inform Brownhills that you have done so BB
