Camping at Goodwood

I will be attending the Goodwood Revival motor sport meeting in August/September. Goodwood racecourse appears to be no longer available for campers, and Lakeside and Wicks Farm near Chichester are quite expensive. Does anyone know of any other camping sites within easy reach of Goodwood?

C & CC site at Slindon (basic facilities only), only a few miles from the course. Also try The Lillies at Barnham (in the C & Cc book - listed site), and a CS directly opposite to it. Similar distance from race track, but not quite as nice surroundings. Also CC site at Bognor.

BTW "Lakeside", sounds nice, but isn't - it should be called A27side. The camping field is next to the busy A27, the lakes refer to old gravel pits, and some of the fixed units are indeed next to the water; the camping area isn't *-)
