News: Spanish Campsite in CV19 Lockdown

Maybe it is still a little early to be venturing forth into Europe but we are starting to think about the possibility that winter in Spain may just be possible - subject to the vagaries of Covid-19 and the Brexit talks.

Due to family illness we have not been now for three years but now we are passed those constraints it is tantalising to think we could spend Christmas on a Spanish beach. Such uncertainty - do we risk it and book a crossing (Eurotunnel Tesco vouchers) or wait a bit longer. I guess fate will decide.

Sadly it seems that the daily number of Spanish CV19 positive cases is rising again. If we add the problems in Catalan too then the CV19 situation becomes very uncertain.

We'll be staying UK-side until 2021.

A few emerging reports this evening to suggest that the French Government may consider closing its border with Spain if the Spanish CV19 infection rates continue to increase.

I'm sure it'll take a few more days for this to be properly assessed by the French.
