oorgiz Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 Having read the thread about chipping a jtd type engine, I just wondered if there are any mods / adjustments that can be made to the older 2.5 td engine?. I dont consider my 2.5 td to be realy poor, but at top weight (3500kg) its not exactly setting the heather on fire. I'm also glad that I didn't buy the lwb tag axle Hymer that I was looking at as it has the same engine and power and a dam sight more weight ( without my accumulated junk). As I said I don't expect a race car and I drive 80,000 miles a year in vans, so I'm well used to loads /hills/power out puts but a couple of extra horses would not go amiss, especially uphill. any thoughts? Grey Funnel Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 Talk to TB Turbo, my 1992 Fiat Ducato 1.9 turbo was too old to be chipped but they found an increase of 29% for me for under £300
