Chaswick Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 I've received an e-mail from the Caravan Club offering the Navman N60i for £239 including "premium delivery". I see it has European mapping, 4.3 inch screen and 2gb hard disc. Has anyone used one of these? I am wondering how it compares with The TomTom One Europe (available from Amazon at about £205) which is the current favourite on my shortlist (?)
RodB Posted March 16, 2007 Posted March 16, 2007 I've got one. Works very well, and the larger screen is good. Doesn't give you street names on the verbal ( just turn left, etc) but the nearest parking and fuel buttons are useful. Although Navpix is a bit of a gimmick it's good fun to use. i always find it quite reassuring after a long day to press the picture of my house on the screen and get directions to it. The price you've quoted seems very competitive. regards Rod
Guest JudgeMental Posted March 16, 2007 Posted March 16, 2007 what mapping does it use? does it come with full European street level mapping? if not the TT One may be better, or wait for the new TT One XL (widescreen version) this price is very good as it normally sells for £270 - £350 maybe a new model coming, everyone else has new models on show this month at Hanover show
RodB Posted March 16, 2007 Posted March 16, 2007 Yes, Euro street mapping included, not as though I intend to drive the van to Norway this weekend, but you never know..
