Another Dublin Regulations Win ...

Birdbrain

Except you forget that Johnsons so called oven ready Brexit is just Theresa's deal with a border in the Irish Sea. You also seem to have failed to grasp that it's the Dublin agreement that allows us to return migrants to France.

Of course you are hoping for a no deal crash out where we can then maybe tear up Theresa's WA but only someone who is mentally retarded would want that. Still it could be what happens although considering the damage it will do I fail to understand why you would be so gleeful about it. I suspect the reason is you think you will somehow have got one over on those pesky Remoaners. Bizarre

Flippin' eck Dave when will you get it. The obligation to provide sanctuary to refugees predates the EU rule book by more than 50 years. The only thing the EU did was to introduce directives that made all member states stick to their obligations under the Refugee Convention. The UK sticks to the rule book because we are a law abiding country. We will be obliged to do so unless and until we withdraw from the 1951 Convention. As has been pointed out to you on numerous occasions departing the EU just loses us the right to return migrants to the first EU country they were known to have entered. Tearing up the EU rule book on the treatment of migrants claiming to be refugees cannot be anything but a detriment to the UK.

Never.....he's been fully programmed to parrot off all the silly soundbites. They rise each morning to bow before Boris then spend the rest of the day chanting mantras. :-|

Does anyone know how many refugees the UK has returned to the first EU country that they entered, when we were in the EU ?

Brian B.

No but its a lot more than we will be able to return once we are out of the Dublin agreement which will be zero. Why do you think Johnson is desperately pleading with the EU to let us keep that bit. *-)
