SNP MP tests positive

This is not as bad as Dominic Cummings

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/oct/01/snp-mp-margaret-ferrier-took-train-after-positive-covid-test

Because she wasn't driving a car with suspect eyesight.

She has also apologised profusely and not tried to cover it up or justify it.

Nevertheless, although what she did is not as bad as Dominic Cummings, and she has behaved far better since, its still very bad.

So Nicola Sturgeon is again setting an example to BoJo in how to deal with it

You don’t think this was very bad? WHAT! This was monumentally stupid far outstripping Cummings.

She attended Parliament and a train all the way back to Scotland. Crass .

If the poison dwarf wants to set an example she should sack her.

Sacking before investigating is a knee jerk reaction, not befitting someone in charge of a nation.

The civilised way to do it is to suspend first and investigate before sacking.

Which if you read posts before replying you would see thats what Nicola Sturgeon has done.

Compare that with Bojo

When asked whether it was OK to go on a drive to test one's eyesight his reply was

'Stammer Stammer, Piffle Paffle, Wiffle Waffle, Covid can affect your eyesight'

and the guilty party is STILL IN HIS POST !!!!!!

She was going home

Cummings was already at home and went out on an unnecessary 60 mile drive TO TEST HIS EYESIGHT!!!!!

Nicola Sturgeon cannot sack her as an MP. She's publicly called for her resignation which is correct.

There's no grey area on this, unlike the feeble excuses made by Cummings, she broke the law. She knowingly returned to Scotland on public transport spreading the virus. It's the sort of thing which gives all the Covidiots an excuse for their behaviour.

I was thinking of their removing the party whip like Dominic Cummings (Bojo) did for all the MPs who didn't vote as he told them. But Nicola Sturgeon has already done that apparently, so she has done all she can - and within a couple of hours of finding out about it.

We can't fault her.

A far cry from Bojo's defence of Dominic Cummings - who I think is worse.

.......she admitted it and apologised

No doubt, if anyone caught it off her on the train, they will be so grateful to her for doing so.

We've had more that few examples over the years of shamelessness by MPs who have been caught out doing things badly wrong and as often as not they then play it stubborn and long to get as much of a payoff as possible under the rules, presumably on the basis that they might as well be hung for a sheep as a lamb. The last one was the Black Labour MP (who was also a lawyer) and had tried to spin a yarn to escape a speeding conviction and got found out.

Let's hope this one is an exception.

Actually the last one was BoJo,

PS: or was it Prince Charles Duke of Cornwall when he took his virus to the Highlands

Oh and then there was Dominic Cummings

(and the latest one Donald Trump as he seems to have more power over here than an MP)

How many people did they put at risk?

In the name of Sanity Why does being a Government employee make it better *-)

Makes it worse because we can get rid of Ferrier

But we can't get rid of Cummings >:-)

Only BoJo can do that -

Think about it (if possible)

And ask yourself why Dominic Cummings is still in his post >:-)

She also visited a gym, shops and a beauty salon presumably contaminating everyone she met.

Now she refuses to resign.

How many did the Prince of Wales presumably contaminate when he took his virus to the Highlands >:-)

How many did Dominic Cummings presumably put at risk when he went out for a drive with Covid AND suspect eyesight >:-)

We can get rid of her because she is elected :-D

But we can't get rid of them >:-)

Presumably, presumably. You do like to ride your hobby horse, don't you? If we're going to be able to get rid of people because they are not an asset to the Country, I have a long list who would come ahead of your candiates, including people chooose to live as parasites in our society, taking everything they can but contributing nothing except their faeces into public waste bins, for others to take away.

Where have I tried to defend her?

She should resign.

But look at the example others have set.

I have simply pointed out that others have done worse and are still in their posts .

Which might well make her feel entitled to do the same as them.

This is not about who has done something at some other time.

Yes it is because Dominic Cummings has done worse and is still in his job - which sets a precedent.

Dominic Cummings is a government employee and his boss gets to decide if he stays or goes ;-) .........

Ferrier is a employee of her electorate, don't you think they should get to decide if she stays or goes? >:-) ...........
