Earthmover Posted November 17, 2020 Share Posted November 17, 2020 Hi Chaps, Does Anyone have any experience of having a car or motorhome insurance policy underwritten by Covea, they only sell through Brokers. It's that time of year and I am looking for a change of insurer?. I notice that in this months outandabout mag one reader claims that LV, have halved his renewal premium due covid 19 lockdown. and if it continues he could change his policy to Fire&theft saving £112-00. My tip for what it's worth, if you find a deal on-line, is to try phoning the company to make sure they will respond if you need to make a claim. Last renewal, got a good price from previous broker, but they didn't answer phone, despite a few attempt. paulmold Posted November 17, 2020 Share Posted November 17, 2020 Hadn't heard of them before but a quick Google shows they are French but do have three UK offices with UK claims centre which at least isn't Malta, Gibraltar or Denmark based as cheap companies tend to be.
