Have you got your Brexit Stockpile ready?

Assuming my government insider is spreading fake news and the Jihadi bonkers no dealers get their way I hope you have stocked up.

It seems there is no provision to maintain our food supply post Brexit. There is also nowhere to stockpile it anyway due to covid and Christmas and nearly two thirds of our fresh food comes from Europe. The government dont want to know as they reckon its not their problem.

We will be ok here in the sticks. We could survive a nuclear winter here but Im just gonna take a wild stab in the dark that those that will run out of food will be those that were mad keen on Brexit.

Hows your stockpile doing?

So you are still thinking if you get your no deal wet dream that it will just be hunky dory and business as usual? (lol) Even the IT systems are nowhere near ready and have no chance of being ready. If this "scaremongering" as you put it turns out to be true who will be the biggest losers? The remainers who have probably stockpiled or the Brexiteers who I just bet have not?

Well we are on day 42 in the van near Dartmoor. Our car is in the garage with a blown head gasket, so its a 6.5 mile hike to the farm shop and its been raining every day.

Can't stock up with much as there's not the room . Having sold our house , the one we are buying probably won't go through till end of Jan at the earliest.

I always wondered what full timeing was like.

When BoJo said another lockdown would be the height of absurdity and he would avoid it at all costs, I knew it was imminent. So I stocked up. Also have stuff from stocking up for the last lockdown... And BoJo's Brexit deadline....And BoJo's Brexit deadline before that...And BoJo's Brexit deadline before that....

What ever gave you that idea? I accepted a while ago that it's purely the Brexiteers show now and there is nothing any of us remainers can do now to shape what happens so I am somewhat indifferent to what happens now as it's just a total pantomime and I'm mearly a spectator on the sofa scoffing popcorn and waiting to see the outcome but I'll still like to make observations if that's OK with you.

I bet it will be because we "Got our fish back". The fish had been held hostage for decades by those cheese eating surrender monkeys in Europe (The French probably) and now that Brexit is about to happen they will have to be released where they will be desperate to swim across the channel back to blighty, hopefully before they put that giant net down the centre of the worlds biggest shipping lane to catch those chancer migrants who are not really refugees but just scroungers coming to get all our benefits.

So in one fell swoop We will have our fish back and the economy will be saved because all the migrants will be caught in a net and everyone will have endless supplies of Cods! The services industry which is 80% of our economy will be fooked but who needs bankers and financial services anyway when we have fish and a big net in the channel?

Asked you before but you ran shy of it......are you prepared to stand outside Swindon Honda factory to tell all the employees there how much better off they will be when they've lost their jobs, some of course who will also lose their homes?

Looks like you might be adding Sunderlands Nissan plant to your tour of condemned workforces telling them how much better off they'll be. I'm sure you'll feel safe given Sunderland voted Leave by 61%.......can't vouch for that percent figure now though, I suspect it's dropped considerably apart from the Kamikaze lot.

1 Wasn't aware we had anything approaching a pandemic recovery strategy, so the answer must be no. Boris, and strategy, does not compute!

I seem to remember the usual suspects ranting endlessly for years about Labour and their magic money tree and how Labour always ends up spaffing the money away so there is nothing left. Johnson certainly found a magic money forest let alone a tree. Any news on that £4bn to his dodgy pals that nobody wants to account for?

I am actually starting to wonder now if Johnson will just bankrupt the entire country post Brexit in order to pave over the Brexit cracks, sorry crevasses that threaten to tear through the entire nation. What will he start with? 50% grants for Nissan cars and free British Lamb, beef and fish vouchers?
