Steve928 Posted November 24, 2020 Posted November 24, 2020 Although our Combi6E and control panel all works as it should I noticed in the darkness a while back that the control panel emits a short pulse of back-light every 30 seconds, even when switched off (but still powered by the Nordelletronica system). It's not noticeable in daylight, nor really in dim lighting unless you stand and watch. The pulse of light seems to vary slightly in brightness. I managed to capture it on this very dark video at c. 9 seconds in. https://drive.google.com/file/d/10mRVTXyXOzhwgkhLcKpjVsHMSAppSeq1/view?usp=sharing I presume that this is not normal behaviour?
Derek Uzzell Posted November 24, 2020 Posted November 24, 2020 One for Truma UK’s technical staff, I think. https://www.truma.com/uk/en/service/customer-service
Steve928 Posted November 24, 2020 Author Posted November 24, 2020 I agree - will report what they say.
Steve928 Posted November 24, 2020 Author Posted November 24, 2020 Confirmed as faulty and to be replaced. I guess I knew that really..
colin Posted November 24, 2020 Posted November 24, 2020 As there is power still going to it, I suspect there is a small current going through a condenser, this will gradually build up until it's enough to trigger the lamp, which then drains the power in the condenser only to start the sequence again.
Steve928 Posted November 25, 2020 Author Posted November 25, 2020 Thanks for the explanation. That sounds very likely.
