Smugg, Hancock and Dorries have all been excitedly tweeting out lies attempting to claim UK was only able to approve the vaccine so quickly because we've left the EU when the truth is it's because EU law enabled it; Article 5(2) of the EU Medicines Directive 2001/83 allows member states to approve unlicensed medicinal products as our own CEO Regulator clearly states!

 

Not to mention the fact we are still a member until 1st January.

I am really pleased there are several vaccines imminently available. Its a fantastic achievement. I even did my bit for Queen and Country the other day by fixing the computer that designs the labels for the Oxford vaccine, I told you! They are all fantastic achievements and as someone who is fairly high risk I look forward to getting one. However it is neither being bitter or hateful to point out that our government is politicising it and telling the public blatant lies. Their track record since being elected and throughout the entire pandemic has been absolutely shocking. This is not their achievement thank God and they can claim no credit for any of it which is why I will take it although it is a worry just what level of involvement they may have in the distribution.

Well you keep reminding by what a fat Bastud I am. Piss poor lung function, according to my doc battered immune system after being the only adult in the middle of a pandemic in the world probably to contract Chickenpox.
