Say Sunderlands Nissan workers who held a protest yesterday to send a message to government.

Demonstrators braved the wet weather on Friday evening to brandish placards with messages including “No deal = no Nissan” and “We need a deal. Save North East jobs. Please, please, please”. Hmm.....bit late in the day for that folks and how many of you from the 61.3% Leave camp voted to put your own jobs at risk? :-S

They look a pretty desperate bunch in dismal surroundings. :-(

I expect all Leave voting employees were too ashamed to protest about shooting themselves in the foot as the lunacy of their actions finally dawned on them. Not to mention the fact they'd hardly be popular among Remain voting workers. :-|

That's your warped wishful gloating not thinking straight.....because any that were not Nissan workers but felt strongly enough to show their support for them, so much the better and good on them.

Let's see if you've the guts to stand outside Nissan at Sunderland and tell them they're a bunch of "sado losers" and remind them how much better off they will be when they've lost their jobs. You like to talk the talk but when it comes to 'walking' it, your yellow streak surfaces as we've seen with you over Honda.

Despite what some of you might think there is still very much a strong remain presence in the North East. Newcastle voted remain remember. There are many active local groups still holding this government and the Brexiteers to account. From what I can gather the worm is already turning partly due to project fear coming true but also because of the handling of the pandemic.

Johnson is going to have to work pretty hard to retain all those northern Monkeys. Sadly for him, working hard is not something he is particularly good at and you can only keep telling people what they want to hear and promising them stuff without delivering for so long.

Already answered that on the other thread......it's a question you trot out each time I raise the matter of you going to stand outside Honda or Nissan to tell them how much better off they will be when they've lost their jobs. You try your best to deflect and avoid the awkward embarrassment of doing what I suggest because you're a coward.

Sunderland voted 61.3% Barry. I'm not sure i can feel sympathy to any Nissan workers daft enough to have voted to put their jobs at risk, but I certainly feel a great deal for the sensible ones who didn't choose to inflict such irreparable damage or risk their jobs.

As with Honda, I imagine there are many broken friendships at Nissan. The shop floor atmosphere must be pretty horrible now.

Why are you repeating what you've been already been told endless times by myself and other fm's? As far back as a year and 10 months ago you were told this and it's had to be repeated to you like a little child ever since. To say "its got bog all do with Brexit" is pure naivety at best as Brexit was undeniably contributory as we also had FTA's with the EU but those were among the things you voted to throw down the pan. You were told we would lose FTA's as a result of Brexit but didn't care anyway. You never gave a thought about industries employing thousands of people whose jobs Brexit put at risk because you're a selfish person who cares not a jot about throwing thousands of people out of work as long as you get your Brexit.

Now i've had enough of your diversionary flimflam desperately avoiding what i've put to you many times. Lets see if you've got the guts to stand outside Honda or Nissan and tell them how much better off they will be when they've lost their jobs and homes.
