"Home Office failure to digitise border system will cost extra £173m, says NAO The report also reveals that the Home Office plans to remove all data from Schengen Information System II (SIS II), the EU’s police and security database, on 31 December.

“This decision has serious implications for border checks as it means that Border Force will overnight on 31 December cease to have access to any of the 40,000 alerts from SIS II on dangerous wanted criminals across Europe,”

So Britain becomes the bolt hole for Terrorists and criminals fleeing justice like Spain did.

Which actually worked out OK for Spain for a while because all the crooks wanted to do was keep their heads down and spend their ill gotten gains.

But their money soon ran out and they went back to crime. >:-)

How are they going to get in to the UK?

How are they going to be kept out when border officials are overwhelmed with lorries and paperwork?

Point is we can no longer single them out from the innocent travellers because we no longer have EU data on them.

Given that many of those criminals already have a criminal history in the UK ;-) .........

I doubt we will need to check any EU data >:-) ..........

Seems that the EU system doesn’t work anyway if they have all these terrorists and criminals on their watch list...why do they have so many incidents in the EU?

Because the EU is far bigger than the UK

I appreciate thats hard to understand for someone who thinks they need us more than we need them :-S

At the risk of stating the obvious, the fact it doesn't catch every criminal does not mean that it doesn't work.

What would you have in its place ?

Traffic news shows the border chaos has started already, people trying to stockpile before Brexit

Lorries queuing on the roads to Dover & the Channel Tunnel

Despite probably having stuff left from stockpiling for BoJo's last Brexit deadline..

and his Brexit deadline before that..

etc

As you have just said....the fact that we won't catch every one obviously won't be a problem.

Oh dear have the Brexiteer rats left it to late to jump the Good ship Brexit Blighty? :D .............

No.....they've gone.

when only 12 months ago your beloved Dear Leader posted this;

and another arch Brexiteer;

The real losers are thick as mince idiots like you who still can't see you've been made fools of by wealthy company owners such as the above. The only thing you both share in common is hypocrisy.....but they've left you to wallow in sh1t you've created for generations to come.
