"The unit is part of a wider operation, known in Whitehall as D20, to anticipate and respond to disruption over winter. Whats worse is we knew this perfect storm was coming. It could have been avoided. it would have been but the flick of a pen to add another year onto the transition. Too late now. Fear not though. We have a top team dealing with it. What could possibly go wrong?

Bloody clowns. How anyone can take this government seriously just beggars belief. It's more like something from an Ealing comedy or Pink Panther movie. *-) Odd but I dont remember any of this being part of the Sunlit Uplands big sell in 2016. No question mark needed about Andrew Neil......he's Tory through and through and has been for years. He was a member of the Conservative Club and participated in Glasgow University Union inter-varsity debates. In 1971, he was chairman of the Federation of Conservative Students. After his graduation Neil worked the Conservative Party.
