I cannot think why they are refusing to publish this?

They are normally so keen to shout out about new trade deals like as to how much cheese we can now sell to the lactose intolerant Japanese.

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2021-02-17/u-k-holds-back-trade-scrutiny-plan-after-johnson-struck-eu-deal?sref=yMmXm5Iy&fbclid=IwAR2vJyG9LGc5Dw1dYn7kqGRx7b7Rl3NJpbwZIqBMSj92qoCm4kMSsst7uSk

Lactose intolerance doesn't mean you can't eat cheese , just not a lot.

So we are agreed, tariff free cheese exports to Japan might not be the massive market Liz Truss was suggesting it was ?

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2021/jan/23/cheshire-cheesemaker-says-business-left-with-250000-brexit-hole?CMP=Share_AndroidApp_Other

It’s a start,maybe they’ll become more tolerant.

Yes but it isn't going to replace the massive market of 450,000,000 people on our doorstep who are not lactose intolerant.

And that extra 5,500 miles of refrigerated transport isn't very good for the environment.

Yeah.....I'm gonna miss those EU supermarkets stacked to the gunnel's with British cheese (lol) (lol) (lol) ......

Keep it up LOSERS :D ........

I like a good laugh >:-) ........

Are the LOSERS that you are suggesting should "keep it up", the twenty people that will no longer have a job in Macclesfield?

The ones mentioned in the above link " To save his business he will now have to switch a £1m investment he was planning to make in a new distribution centre in Macclesfield to the EU, with the loss of 20 jobs and tax revenue to the UK."

One has to wonder whether there is any actual truth in what you LOSERS spout ;-) ........

Did your business have 20 staff who were dependent on trade with the EU (?) .......

Gove still trying to deny exports to the EU are down 68%

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2021/mar/06/uk-statistics-authority-rebukes-gove-over-observers-brexit-figures

By ignoring the fact that lorries are running empty

https://fullfact.org/economy/eu-exports-january-2021/

From your link ;-) ...........

"These show that in January 2021, the total number of outbound “roll-on roll-off” freight vehicles was at 73% of the January 2020 level, catching up towards the end of the month, and from 1 to 11 February, outbound roll-on roll-off freight was at 98% of 2020 levels."

Yet more evidence that you cant trust a word the LOSERS spout *-) ...............

Also from that report the role UK Statistics Authority, obviously lefty university types is:

"The authority, which is independent of ministers, has a statutory objective to “safeguard the production and dissemination of statistics by government.” Its terms of reference state that it will intervene (raise concerns) if “official statistics in a document or statement are presented in such a way that, in the authority’s opinion, they are liable to mislead the public or undermine the integrity of official statistics.”"

But it is good to see you are now wanting to count empty lorries carrying great British air as an export?
