Wingpete
Went to Calais for day trip yesterday, and had dinner in a restaurant by the harbour entrance public aire. Nice parking place, used it previously for overnighting prior to embarking next day, but it was noticably busy yesterday. Mostly Brits units. So, if intending to use the site, be prepared for it being crowded now the season is under way.
Guest starspirit
It's also 7 euros and they call round at frequent intervals checking tickets etc. It is also noisy as people come and go 24 hours a day. Water etc is still free.
Mel B
Calais port - stayed on the visitor parking area near the ticket offices - totally free and fairly quiet.
