whisturx Posted March 31, 2007 Share Posted March 31, 2007 Used my Oyster Sat system for the first time for two months and locked on to Astra 2 supposedly. Television came up with "no satellite signal ". I rang Sky Freesat as they have a habit of turning me off if I don't use the van for a while, but after the usual checks I was told it was a fault with my system. I rang Robert Jackson who installed the Oyster and it appears an Arab country has put up a satellite right next to Astra 2 called BASR4 which is what I am locking on to . I have sent the satfinder box ( the box with the map of Europe on )back for reprogramming(free) which has sorted it out.I see Transleisure are offering to reprogramme Oyster systems also.
