Pete-B
How do you protect your carpets and upholstery when out in your van? We've tried putting mats down but they tend to slide about so forever straightening them up. :-(

stevec176
Why cover them up, we use ours as we do at home, shoes off at the door. After a while they will get a bit grubby but they can be cleaned so just use them just like the rest of the van. Enjoy it.
laimeduck
We had shaped, dark blue, backed, Benimar monogrammed substantial carpets in our van but they got so dusty and gritty that we were having to clean them all the time.Took them out and they've been in storage in the garage now for years. So now we have the speckled base vinyl floor. A simple brush out now does the trick. As far as upholstery goes we have cream leather seats throughout as well as in the cab. We give a leather feed/polish once a year and that's it. Jeremy
John52
Professional valeter told e the secret of successful stain removal is to attack the stain as soon as possible. Longer its in the less chance you have of getting it out. So I keep a spray bottle of diluted laundry liquid in the van - spray the stain as soon as it happens before it has time to dry in. breakaleg
We removed the rear carpet (by the habitation entrance in our van) and put down the cotton mats that grab any water and mud in the rear, these mats can go in the washing machine when necessary.
