Ninian
I have a Thetford N3000 series fridge freezer and it won't work on electric. I know that there is 240v at the fridge but when I select electric is displays a No 8. I have the manual but there is nothing in the trouble shooting section that points me in any direction as to the cause. Has anyone come across this, before I start dismantling the electrical unit at the rear of the fridge. I don't know if there's relays within the unit or is it solid state. It will operate on Gas and 12V.
buddy
The fault code 8 states that - AC heater current is measured to be 75% below nominal current - It does also mention that the 2amp fuse in the power board in the fridge may have blown. Ninian
Hi, Just back in from dismantling the power unit, found the fuse on the board to be OK, so now don't know if its the board or the fridge element. I don't know what reading I should be looking for from the board or across the element.
