France imposes quarantine on UK visitors

Once again France does not hesitate to impose restrictions on UK travellers. Motorhoming in or through France is still looking unlikely this year at all. Crossing to Europe via Hook of Holland or Zeebrugge may still be an option - and then presumably you will have entered the Shengen Area and will be free to cross into France?

As the link witzend provided makes clear, France is not the only country imposing such restrictions.

Austria also mentioned, So after more than 12 mths they are now doing what they should have done long ago banning travel

Don't mention Spain & Portugal we can take what we want to their population as long as we take our money as well

Looking at the Dutch list of Safe countries looks like You'll still have to self isolate https://www.government.nl/topics/coronavirus-covid-19/visiting-the-netherlands-from-abroad/eu-list-of-safe-countries

Yesterday I received an email from Brittany Ferries that included the following information relating to their France and Spain routes

France - The Armorique and Normandie will not be carrying passengers until 20th June 2021, and sailings on the Barfleur, Bretagne, and Cap Finistère have been cancelled until 27th June 2021.

Spain - For those still wishing to travel on a Spanish service, in addition to the Portsmouth to Santander sailings on board Galicia, the Pont-Aven will be sailing to and from Plymouth and Santander from 6th June 2021.

witzend seems to have answered that question.

Why would anyone try to get round regulations rather than respect them just to go travelling on holiday?

You might find your vehicle registration plate a GB sticker give a clue to your probable nationality, though. If they're serious about who to admit, a UK registered van would surely be worth investigating?
